Our Mission
TextToImg was built on a simple conviction: the best AI image generation technology should not be locked behind monthly subscription fees. We built a clean, fast interface on top of the world's leading models — Flux 1.1 Pro, DALL·E 3, Stable Diffusion XL — and made it free to use, no account required.

The Technology
TextToImg connects to AI image generation models via OpenRouter, a unified API that provides access to multiple frontier models through a single endpoint. Our PHP backend keeps your API calls secure — your prompts go from your browser to our server to the AI, then the result comes back. We never store your prompts permanently.
The rate limit (5 images/day) is enforced server-side using IP-based tracking — it cannot be bypassed by clearing cookies or using incognito mode.
Privacy First
We collect zero analytics. We use no tracking cookies. Your generation history is stored only in your browser's localStorage — we never see it. The only data we temporarily store server-side is your IP address for the rate limit counter, which is purged after 7 days.
